Admission Information

St. Francis school is open to children of all faiths who wish to benefit from a Catholic education. We accept a maximum of 25 students per class to maintain the small class sizes we feel are ideal for learning and growth. The kindergarten class is always staffed with a classroom aide regardless of the student to teacher ratio.  An aide will be added In any first, second or third grade class that is over a 20:1 student to teacher ratio.  Additionally we are staffed with part time aides in all first through fouth grade classrooms.

Siblings, parishioners, and Catholics are given priority for admissions in that order. All families agree to comply with the programs and policies of the school and actively participate in the activities which support the school in its programs and philosophy.
 

FINANCIAL AID

As a Catholic School we aim to provide a Catholic education to any family who desires one for their children. Financial aid is available for students who qualify. Families seeking assistance will need to apply through FACTS.
 
In addition, the parish has made and continues to make a significant financial contribution to our school. Parishioners who regularly attend mass and support the parish with their time, talent and treasure may receive the parish tuition rate. The pastor is solely responsible for the approval of the parish tuition rate.
 

ADMISSIONS PROCESS FOR NEW STUDENTS
 
Incoming Kindergarten
Applications for the upcoming year are available mid-December online and are reviewed starting in January.

Kindergarten readiness testing begins in mid-February and goes through March. We accept a maximum of 25 students and our deadline occurs when the class is filled.

There is a BBQ at the beginning of the year for all families.  Once school is in session, every kindergartener is given an 8th grade buddy with whom they’ll sit at school masses, have special lunches, and more.

1^st through 8^th Grades
Similar to kindergarten, applications for grades 1 through 8 are available online in mid-December and are reviewed beginning in January.  The need for testing is determined by the Principal. We invite prospective students to come and spend a day with us.
